Significant rain was forecasted for the next day so made it out to sit a field and try for a fat fatty doe. Got to the field about an hour an a half before dark and deer were already in the field. Ended up messing with the cameras too much to capitalize on the opportunity. Setup for the last hour and ended up seeing quite a few young bucks and a nice mature doe stepped out the last 5 minutes of daylight. A 230yd shot made for a quick end to the season and filled the freezer. Looking forward to Christmas and getting some much needed rest. I hope everyone has had a great year, Happy Hunting!
