Put together a very quick video showing how a DDJ controller can be used with a club mixer like the Pioneer DJM V10 when using DJ software. The mixing is nothing special, this video was more to show how a setup like this can work. The DJM V10 acts as the main mixer with the DDJ 800 purely for controlling rekordbox DJ 6. The mixer functions of the DDJ 800 are disabled when the DJM V10 is connected but all other functions work including the colour FX and rekordbox DJ Beat FX. No adjusting of settings are required, once the DJM V10 is plugged in, it takes preference as the main mixer but all inputs on the DJM need to be set to USB. The RMX 1000 is connected as standard to the DJM V10 and has no interaction with the rekordbox DJ. This is a cheap way of utilising 4 decks using a club mixer without breaking the bank on expensive CDJs. Rekordbox DJ quantizes with the DJM V10 so all beat effects used on the DJM V10 with Rekordbox DJ tracks are perfectly quantized.
