Alhama de Murcia Street Market Murcia Spain. The Public Market was built in 1928 by Pedro Cerdán. This is a building of simple lines, the most basic ornamental element being its façade. Around it the weekly street market is held every Tuesday. The building is located right in the centre of the town, next to the old Workers Instructive Circle and opposite the Duck Park which has been, and still is, a meeting place since the start of the 20th century.
