Finally, we reached our most awaited destination of Karnataka that's GoKarna : the Charming Costal City. We reached Gokarna from Honnavar in the night by bus , I hope you have watched our previous Vlog. If not, then do check out that vlog too.    • Honnavar to Gokarna | Cleanest Beach of In...   Gokarna is a charming coastal city located in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka and is etymologically translated to ‘cow’s ear.’ According to popular mythological belief, it is the place where Lord Shiva emerged from the incarnation of Mother Earth in the form of a cow. Interspersed with ancient temples, the town is home to one of the oldest temples since time immemorial known as Mahabaleshwar, enshrined with Lord Shiva. The town is about 59 km from Karwar, 483 km from Bengaluru, and 238 km from Mangalore. There is something divine about this ancient town , this vlog will take you through the days tour we had around Gokarna temple town and explored its market and temples , got some experiences which we never had and meet some interesting people on our way and yes to our surprise we meet Ganapathi here ! watch the complete video and share your views. Furthermore, the rustic outlook of the town has attracted the attention of a lot of domestic and foreign travelers , and it's slowly becoming an alternative to crowded Goa. There are several impressive beaches, pilgrimage sights, and waterfalls that are reverberating tourist attractions. In fact, the town is situated around the River Aghanashini, which is considered to be deemed and sacred site for devotees. Travelers can catch a sight of golden sand beaches dotted with palm trees and jaw-dropping vistas of sunrise and sunset in this beautiful beach destination. In all, Gokarna is the perfect blend of many memorable experiences, making it a stunning holiday destination where unwinding and finding solace is a sure thing. In Gokarna we choose to stay at a beach side budget Guest house known as Sea Shore cafe , which had great scenic view of gokarna beach and I must say their staff has been very decent and specially their propery manager Mr.Mahadev was very helpful and courteous . Recently I checked with them about their guest house and go to know they have relocated to better beach side location with a bigger property and a better view and also changed their Guest house name to Poornima Beach Stay , gokarna.
