Northern Lights (Lyra escapes Bolvangar, alternative cut)

This is a fan made video, showing a brief alternative scene from the movie The Golden Compass. Instead of what is seen in the theatrical version of the movie, this video incorperates clips from various trailers and a short scene shown as a FMV sequence in the video game. In the movie this scene is shorter, and shows a lone lyra destroy the 'cutting machine' herself, setting the alarm off and then every child runs out of the bolvangar station. This is not how things seemed to be originally filmed, in this pieced together version, Lyra runs out in to a corridor and sets off the alarm. Some of the children meet her in the corridor and Roger asks if the Gyptians are here. A confused an unsure Lyra just tells the kids to follow her, which they then stumble across the 'cutting machine'. They stand and watch as she destorys the device that was made to seperate them from their daemons. The shots in this video have been colour corrected to fit the original movie, and the audio has been completely taken apart and redone. Shots such as the children meeting lyra had only the actors voices, so have had to have sound effects and music placed on it from other scenes in the film.
