'Death From Above' Israeli Drone Strike Targets Iran’s Basij Forces Commander In Tehran

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) released surveillance video on Tuesday, which it said shows a drone strike targeting Basij operatives at a checkpoint in Tehran. Footage shows an explosion on a busy road, followed by thick smoke and flames. According to the IDF, more than 10 Basij positions were struck, including an 'emergency command centre' operating from a former football club. Israel said the strikes are part of a far-reaching campaign targeting the Basij and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), adding that hundreds of alleged command centres have already been dismantled.
