Meanwhile, a 2022 BMW M3 Competition xDrive we tested needed just 3.0 seconds to run to 60 mph and 11.1 seconds (at 124.7 mph) for the quarter mile. The culprit here is most likely weight, with the M4 Competition xDrive Convertible (and all its soft top bits) tipping our scales at 4,256 pounds.
