In this video, I walk through building a realistic dual-WAN enterprise environment using a Cisco router and free FortiGate VMs. The challenge? The free VM only gives you 3 interfaces, so I had to get creative. What you'll see: Using VRF-Lite on the Cisco router to simulate separate MPLS and Internet paths The "secondary IP hack" to work around interface limitations BGP path manipulation with AS-path prepending Policy-based routing to fix triangle routing issues SD-WAN failover IPsec tunnels for backup connectivity Why did I build this?
