But for a time in the mid-late 70s, Niki Lauda and the Ferrari 312T in various forms were the people to beat. They didn't necessarily go on an unbeaten run like Mercedes did or Ferrari in the early 2000s, but at the time, a team winning three constructors in a row was thought of as being dominant.
