J.P. Barron Memorial Lecture: Forming/Informing the modern world? The role of classical scholarship Charlotte Roueché, ICS/KCL This year marks the centenary of the Peace Conference held in Paris over many months to establish a new world order in the aftermath of the First World War. Those attending the conference were not only statesmen and civil servants, but also academics and intellectuals, unembarrassed to play a role in public affairs.
