Salt is a vital mineral for the maintenance of our body functions. However, if they are not well processed through chemical components, they can be very harmful to our health. The World Food Program partner with the Senegalese government to help some scale farmers in producing quality salt that is analyzed in a laboratory to certify that it is appropriately iodized for public consumption.
