After a fantastic run through a tough field of opponents, the Iroquois Nationals came home with a bronze medal, while three of their own were named to the 2012 World Lacrosse Team. We've been covering their run through the U19 World Lacrosse Championships in Turku, Finland, with our West Coast editor Valerie Taliman reporting from the ground, and our videographer, Gwendolen Cates, recapping seminal moments with her trusty camera. Here we provide Gwendolen's coverage of the Nationals bronze medal winning game against England, as well as the awards ceremony, interviews with team coaches, a tournament committee member, and a coach for the Australian team (who the Nationals beat, 17-9) speaking about how important it was for the tournament to have the Nationals involved, unlike the 2010 World Tournament in England. This video ends, fittingly, with coach Freeman "Boss" Bucktooth talking about the lifelong connection between Iroquois youth and the Creator's game.
