Angels Landing Hike in Zion National Park | Full Route Overview

The Angels Landing hike in Zion National Park is known to be one of the scariest hikes in the world due to its sheer drop-offs on either side. Before we did the Angels Landing hike, we were a little nervous ourselves. We have done a lot of hikes before and consider ourselves moderate hikers, but had heard of how technical the Angels Landing hike could be. However, we also heard from many people that it was one of the most exhilarating hikes of their lives. Since we were in Zion National Park, Utah at the time, we just had to try it for ourselves. We completed the Angels Landing trail in February 2021 and put this video together to show you how it really looks. Each section of this video gives a detailed look at how to hike Angels Landing and what to expect. A lot of people asked us how scary the Angels landing hike was and we thought that since everyone has a different threshold for fear, this video would give you the best sense of what you can handle and you can judge for yourself if you want to go for it or not. Although there are chains along the Angels Landing trail, we definitely recommend going slow and letting others pass if there is too much traffic at any point. There is no sense rushing. Just enjoy this beautiful hike in Zion National Park and take it slow. Also, a note that if you're not feeling comfortable with pushing to the end of the hike on the chains section, there's no shame in stopping at Scout's Landing viewpoint and just observing other hikers from there. It's still a very beautiful viewpoint.
