Driving in Bulgaria & Greece: II-80 & EO51 E85 from Svilengrad to Orestiada / Свиленград - Ορεστιάδα

In this video you can ride along on national road II-80 and EO51 (European Road E85) from Svilengrad in Bulgaria to Orestiada in Greece. This is the last EU to EU border crossing before Türkiye. Note: this was filmed before Bulgaria's entrance to Shengen. The II-80 was built out as a 2 x 2, probably due to expected truck traffic and potential traffic jams in the right lane. The EO51 is also a higher standard national road on the Greek side. Traffic is very limited however, as you can also see in the video.
