On those computers, you can not change the RAID settings in the BIOS, you have to go into a separate Raid BIOS to do that. If you had a setup, and if one of the hard drives failed you will have to go into the RAID setup to configure the setting to use the drive as a non-raid hard drive. Conversely, if you have two identical hard drives then you man make a RAID setup. I have a video on what different types of RAID on the link below. You do have to know what kind of RAID setup you want before you set it up.
