In today’s rainy-day greenhouse vlog, I’m showing you a super easy way to take dahlia cuttings so you can multiply your plants for free – no need to divide your tubers! A few of you have asked why I didn’t divide my dahlia tubers this year – and the short answer is: I didn’t need to. Instead, I’m taking cuttings from the healthy shoots coming up from the tuber. It’s quicker, simpler, and a brilliant way to create clones of your most beloved plants (especially helpful if you don’t know the variety!). In this video, I’ll show you: How to take cuttings with a tiny sliver of tuber (don’t worry, it’s easy!) The tools I use Why I plant them in the corners of the pot (there’s a nifty reason!)
