I've been thinking about “bravery" lately how, to me, real bravery isn't about feeling 100% confident all the time, but rather, it's just about showing up. It's about being totally and completely terrified, but doing the thing anyways because you know it is important. I feel that bravery is an essential ingredient to being an entrepreneur. It's about continuing on your path, even after resistance. It's about making videos that may receive push back. It's about showing up online and IRL when you're not feeling sure or 100% perfect. It's messy, it's full of fear, and sadness, and chaos. But bravery is continuing to run your business, to try, to show up, to create, because you know it is in alignment. And you need to be brave to have boundaries. You need to be brave to create boundaries for yourself and others. And boundaries are essential for running a business. You need to say “no” to the things that push back against your goals and say “no” to the distractions. I go more in depth about what I think about boundaries and bravery in my latest podcast episode.
