Hello, People! My name is Marc, welcome to my channel. July 2025. Air Conditioning! We have it! :D It was too hot in the trailer the other night and I decided to give a portable air conditioner a try in my 6x10 cargo camper. Installing this Hisense 8,000 BTU Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner in a more permanent but removable way. I had the 6" adjustable elbows amongst my piles of old building materials. Purchased some 8" circular boat hatches for the 6" pipes to exit the trailer. I also had the butyl tape from previous jobs and some screws that while long enough, aren't stainless, I'll use them for the time being. The big job is cutting the necessary pair of 8" holes in the side of the trailer while dodging the z channel wall stud. Once holes are made I install the boat hatch cover rings and then eventually trim it out nice with a custom insulation job. This project occurred over several days as noted in the video.
