In this video learn to knit a very simple teddy bear - a perfect beginners project using only the stitches covered in the Learn to Knit Part 1 video WRITTEN PATTERN: Starting at the bottom of the leg, cast on 10 sts in beige Rows 1-6: Starting with a K row, stocking st 6 rows Change to trouser colour Rows 7-36: Garter st 30 rows Break off yarn and leave all sts on the needle. Make another leg in the same way Row 37: K across all sts from both legs (20 sts) Rows 38-52: Garter st 15 rows Change to top colour Rows 53-76: Garter st 24 rows Change to beige Rows 77-118: Starting with a K row, stocking st 42 rows Change to top colour Rows 119-142: Garter st 24 rows Change to trousers colour Rows 143-158: Garter st 15 rows *Row 159: K10, turn (work following rows on these 10 sts only) Rows 160-188: Garter st 29 rows Change to beige Rows 189-194: Starting with a K row, stocking st 6 rows Cast off Rejoin yarn to remaining 10 sts and repeat from * Arms (make 2) Starting at body edge, cast on 16 sts in top colour Rows 1-20: Garter st 20 rows Change to beige Rows 21-26: Starting with a P row, stocking st 6 rows Cast off Scarf Cast on 60 sts Rows 1-4: Moss st 4 rows Cast off
