The Gearbox is the signature pedal of session guitarist Andy Wood and is a fantastic 2 side overdrive pedal that is made up of two very well known Wampler pedals. The first side is a slightly tweaked version of the Wampler Tumnus which is their take on the Klon Centaur. The second side is the Wampler Pinnacle which is like a roaring Marshall stack in a box. The pedal also has a built in noise gate and an optional loop that sits between the two channels which allows you to inset another effect between the two sides. In the video I am using my Jackson Adrian Smith SDX guitar which is plugged into the Kool Amplification Blue Sky. The reverb you hear is coming from the Surfy Industries Surfybear Classic and the amp is running into the Two Notes Captor X, running an IR of a 1x12 Bassman style amp. The additional overdrive I use in the loop of the Gearbox is the Wampler Belle.
