Emily Porter is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her fellowship in sports medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Porter's practice is focused on exercise as medicine and treating sports-related injuries. Additional medical interests include care of the female athlete. Dr. Porter is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. She is also a past and current team physician for various sports teams at the high school, college, and professional levels. Dr. Porter volunteers for sports medicine coverage for local athletic events. Loving sports and physical activity on a personal level, I want to help others be able to be active as well.
