Lecture 06 Part I: Lighthill-Whitham-Richards (LWR) Models

In this lecture, I introduce the most important class of macroscopic traffic flow models, the LWR models, where there is only a single dynamic equation for the density while the speed is statically coupled to the density via the fundamental diagram. That's why this class is also called first-order models.
