Dodds Diaries Episode 75 - Blackpool by Car

In this episode I travel to Blackpool for one of my many outings there. This time the journey was different because I drove to Blackpool there and back. The journey took nearly 3 hours each way thats including a 20 minute break at Junction 38 services just off the M6. The journey from Chester-le-Street goes via A1 to Scotch Corner, A66 to Brough then through Kirkby Stephen towards the west coast then M6 to M55 then along the M55 into Blackpool and the same comming back. In Blackpool I have rides on the trams both the Flexity 2 and heritage trams, I also do a few sessions at the new Blackpool North station with the remodeled platforms, electric wires and now electric trains. At 6pm the illuminations switched on so I got a look at them and also for the 3rd time I went to the top of Blackpool Tower. Date filmed 23/10/18
