I made my Dad's awesome urn. Shovelhead even after you're dead.

Hey everyone Jason here with a very special video. In todays video I fulfill my fathers request to make him a ‪@harleydavidson‬ Shovelhead urn. Unfortunately, he lost his battle with stage 4 cancer just a couple weeks after his only grandchild was born. I was able to recycle old used parts to create this awesome and truly unique urn. The rocker box was from my pile of extra parts for the chopper build, while the first generation head and jug was gifted to me by Richie at Manx Cycle Repair in Dover N.J. The base consists of 3 layers of wood. Top and bottom sections are Poplar while the center section is Red Oak.After routing the edges I used Miniwax Golden Pecan Stain was used to richen the color and wood grain. Then 2 coats of poly satin clear was apply to protect the stain. After reassembling the Urn I placed a custom plaque on the wood base with My dads name with birth and death dates.
