Do You Know How to Check and Adjust Engine Timing?? | 1995 Ford F150

In this video, I show you how to check the timing on your engine and then make adjustments. This is the 5.0L / 302 Ford engine and I am using a plan, nothing fancy Actron timing light. The process is simple. You aim the timing light at the harmonic balancer and you see where the timing marks line up with the timing indicator arrow/pointer. To adjust the timing, you loosen the distributor hold down bolt and rotate/turn the distributor until you reach the correct timing mark. Adjusting engine timing has the potential to increase/improve mpg and increase horsepower.
