DO NOT omit the cinnamon and nutmeg. That's what makes these baked donuts taste like donuts! Makes 6 small Cake Donuts. I used a 10 x 7 inch donut pan. Whip the egg well! About 3-5 minutes. My favorite way to eat these donuts is to toss them in cinnamon sugar.
