Today we're going to take a look at the Jensen RV Mechless Cube Wall Mount Stereo, and when I say Mechless, what that's describing is the new breed of in-dash receivers that eliminate any mechanical playback methods. The mechless heads also known as digital media receivers, they'll share the features that are found in your traditional car radios such as AM/FM tuner, multichannel power, and it also adds a technology like Bluetooth and HD radio. But they have no moving parts inside the head here. These head units cannot play disc, but instead they're optimized for iPods and can also use other MP3 players and USB flash drives as their primary music sources. The stereo system itself plays audio from radio signals and devices that will be connected to Bluetooth, USB cable, or HDMI cable. The MP3 and WMA file formats are supported. We mentioned a Bluetooth capability, it'll also provide hands-free calling from your smartphone.They do offer multiple connection points to let you link other devices to the stereo. It has two HDMI ports. The one up here is an in, the HTMI back here is an out. It does have the USB right here. It does have when you plug your wiring harness in that's included, it does give you other ... It gives you some RCA inputs, some RCA outputs, and a subwoofer output. Now the AM/FM tuner with the program will presets, will let you scan through previously saved stations. The auto store will save up to 30 of the strongest signals for easy access, and it offers digital follow in playback mode, which will save the stopping point for your music and pick it up when it's turned back on. Has a two zone output. Allows for up to four speakers to be connected to the stereo. Now this system setup will give you access to all formatting and customizing options, adjust your language, audio, equalizer controls, and as you can see it's a very compact design.Can fit into your RV's dash or in the wall. Has an LCD display with white led back lighting for low light conditions. It'll show the time and current activated functions. It is a nice durable construction with a plastic housing. Now I do have the trim ring installed this will hide the mounting screws. You can see if I pop the trim ring off at each corner, there's your trim ring and there's your mounting. Now the mounting hardware is not included. Once you get it mounted, then you can just take your trim ring and pop it right into place.It does come with a remote control, with batteries included. Nice quick reference guide to get you through all the things it can do. Few specs on this, the voltage it requires is 12 volt DC. The wattage it puts out is 24 Watts, so it's six watts times for speakers to get you to 24 watts. Last thing I want to do, it does come with this included wiring harness as I mentioned. That'll plug right into the back right here, give you your speaker wires and all your RC outputs and subwoofer. And last thing I want to do is just give you some dimensions on this.The overall dimension with the trim ring installed, one end to the other is right at 5 1/4" wide. The height on it, 4 1/2" tall. Total depth on this unit is right at 3 5/16" deep. Now the display itself, just this portion here, the width on it is right at 3 3/4" wide, and the total height on it is 3 15/16" tall.
