6-Player Short Passing Combination Exercise Progression Phase 1 - The player on the red marker plays a 1-2 with the player on the white marker and then the player on the red marker passes the ball to the player on the mannequin on the left. That player turns and passes the ball to the player on the opposite red marker. Continue to repeat the pattern and then change the direction. Phase 2 - Repeat phase 1 but this time the player on the white marker who plays the original 1-2 then plays a 1-2 with the player around the mannequin too. Continue to repeat the pattern and then change the direction. Phase 3 - Repeat phase 2 but this time as the player receives the ball back from the player on the mannequin, instead of playing the ball into space for the same player, the pass goes into the player on the white marker on the opposite side of the exercise who sets the ball back for the player who was initially on the mannequin. Continue to repeat the pattern and then change the direction.
