I've received numerous comments and suggestions over the past month to use Luminar 4 to edit some of my landscape photographs and I'm glad I finally did! Now I've been a Lightroom and Photoshop user from day one ever since I got started with landscape photography and I'll admit I've been pretty reluctant to try any new editing software since. But, after using Luminar 4 for the past few week's I can honestly say that it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. I was originally under the impression that Luminar 4 was only a standalone program, but I quickly found out that it can easily be used as a plugin for both Lightroom and Photoshop - which I find particularly comforting! In this video, I edit three of my landscape photographs using the features within Luminar 4 that I find most beneficial for the way I edit my images. What I found particularly enjoyable with Luminar 4 is that you can tell it wasn't designed the way many other photo editing programs are. Skylum is clearly trying to think outside the box to determine a better way to edit photos using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to not only create better results, but to also speed up the overall photo editing process. One thing I can certainly attest to is that Luminar 4 is by far one of the most fun editing programs that I've ever used and the results really do speak for themselves.
