(Side note) This is an AU, where Jenna & Aleu are not mother and daughter, but in fact BFFs turned lovers. This also took over ten edits to make this, until I was finally happy with the results. 😓😮‍💨 Thanks for reading. (Update): I just want to make something’s clear. Yes, I did turn my comments off. This was mainly because of some comments from users (who I assume aren’t familiar with the term “AU” (alternate universe)). I want to make it clear that I will never condone in a parent child sexual relationship. As previously stated here, this is an AU, where Jenna & Aleu ARE NOT related in anyway. Cast: Aleu Balto (Aleu’s father) Jenna Steele (Jenna’s father) Young Kodi (Jenna as a puppy) Aniu (Aleu’s dead mother) Story: Ever since they were pups, little Jenna (husky) and Aleu (wolf) were close friends. While Aleu’s father (Balto) is unbothered by their friendship, Jenna’ father (Steele) obviously had problems with it. About a year later, Aleu was playing in the field, when she notices a familiar smell. She turns to see Jenna. Aleu is unsure at first, whether or not it is her friend, but Jenna recognised her instantly. They have a catch up on lives. It is soon rudely interrupted by Steele, who intimidates Aleu, until she shouts for Balto’s help. Upon hearing his daughter’s scream, Balto tries to reason with Steele. But Steele only threatens Balto & Aleu, not wanting Jenna mixing with wild animals. Jenna scolds Steele, claiming that she can be friends with whoever she wants. Steele tells her to not see Aleu again. This breaks both Jenna & Aleu’s hearts. Three weeks later, Balto assists Aleu in a secret meet up, with Jenna. Although unsure at first, Balto just wants Aleu to be happy. Unfortunately they were both caught by Steele. Figuring out about the plan, Steele takes his rage out on Balto, resulting in his death. Aleu tries to get Balto to wake up, but is unsuccessful. Seeing her best friend’s heart break, Jenna hugs Aleu. Meanwhile, in heaven, Balto comes face to face with Aniu (Aleu’s mother). Happy to see each other again, they howl together. After witnessing what Steele was capable of, Jenna decides to run away, with Aleu, calling Steele a monster. He hardly cares much and lets them go. While out in the wild, Jenna and Aleu, passively proclaim that they actually love each other. Meanwhile, back in town, word had gone round about Balto’s murder. Every other dog rejects Steele for what he did. He then begins to plot revenge on Jenna & Aleu, thinking that they told everyone. He decides to leave town to find them both. While out spying, Steele sees Jenna and Aleu being intimate. Steele is now enraged. A little time later, a grizzly bear tries to attack Aleu & Jenna. They bravely fight the bear, managing to kill it. After saving Aleu from the cliff’s edge, Jenna asks if Aleu is alright. But before Aleu gets a chance to answer, Steele drags her away. Realising what happened, Jenna & Aleu await what Steele does next. He grabs onto Jenna’s bandana, nearly hurting her. Unaware of his whereabouts, the bandana tears, leaving Steele at the cliff’s edge. He then falls to his death. Aleu then feels guilty for watching Steele die. She wants to apologise, but Jenna stops her, claiming that she never had a close connection to her Steele. They both share a nuzzle.
