Your host Emmy Award Winning Rapper Frzy, reporting from Frankie's Friends with Head Veterinarian Dr. Becky Morrow DVM, MS, CAWA, and Samantha Ginsburg, Chief Feline Officer, CATSA. We are thrilled to announce Frankie's Friends will be holding our FIRST High-Quality High Volume Spay/Neuter Training workshop on January 7th & 8th, 2023! Our FREE HQHVSN Workshops are for Veterinarians, Techs, Assistants, and Veterinary/Vet Tech Students(12 RACE-approved credits)! Nearly 1 million cats lose their lives yearly due to overpopulation. A large part of the problem is the community cat population, the 40 million cats in the US that are homeless and breeding. This "unowned" cat population is responsible for around 80% of the kittens born and brought into shelters, leading shelters to do what is unthinkable to us - euthanize all these cats. This is where FF comes in. Their mission is to end suffering and overpopulation by "turning off the faucet" rather than "bailing out the tub." It means becoming proactive and getting these community cats spayed, neutered, and vaccinated so we don't have to continue this cycle of reactivity and unnecessary killing. ALL veterinarians, technicians, and assistants can help. By learning to become more efficient, more animals can be spayed and neutered at a lower cost. Patients are more comfortable and recover rapidly due to the minimally invasive surgical techniques taught. Head over to https://www.frankies-friends.org/hqhvsn-tr... to learn more!!
