The Linda Lucas Walling Collection seeks to make learning accessible to everyone, including children and youth with differing abilities and accommodation needs. The work of Linda Lucas Walling, Ph.D., and Clayton Copeland, Ph.D., introduces principles of Universal Design and Universal Design for Learning, as well as selection and evaluation criteria, to equip librarians, other educators, families, and other caregivers to evaluate, select, and modify the presentation of literature to meet specific accessibility and learning needs. More information and the selection and evaluation criteria are available on the Collection's website: https://bit.ly/walling-collection. Any questions may be directed to Clayton A. Copeland, Ph.D., at copelan2@email.sc.edu. We would like to express appreciation to Professor Emeritus Linda Lucas Walling, Ms. Susan Aude, Dean Tom Reichert, Mr. Randy Covington, Mrs. Vicky Culbertson and Thornell Charter School, Mrs. Ellen Ramsey, and everyone who makes this work possible. Thanks also to the South Carolina Center for Community Literacy and School of Information Science Director Lyda Fontes McCartin. This video was produced by Zero Gravity.
