Hello everyone, Thanks for being here - I hope you’re well! This week I decided to film a video taking stock of (some*) items that I’ve purchased so far this year. And having think-out-loud-moments of analysing why I have waves of guilt after buying journaling items. I wanted to talk a bit more about my fave items but ended up really focused on how I can find a healthier relationship with my consumption by laying out a few ground rules for spending for the next 6 months! I’m quite pleased with this video because I’ve been very honest about an issue that's quite a bother for me. I hope that by sharing my feelings others may find discussing theirs easier, whatever those maybe. We don’t talk about these “side effects” of keeping up with a hobby enough, I think. If you’re happy to share, I’d love to hear your thoughts on overconsumption are and if you’ve found a solution for it for you. Thank you for watching and thank you for getting this far down my blurb!! PJ 🫰 Come find me on Instagram @thejournalingpotato *I hate to admit but I haven’t kept track of my spending, so, er… I can’t remember all the items I bought. But there were plenty stickers, inks and other stationery knick knacks like planner magnets (featured in last weeks video, here: • April flip through Hobonichi A6 Avec + pas... ) or covers etc. 😬 Creators mentioned + Danielle @mydandeliondiaries (@my.dandelion.diaries on insta)
