In this video I describe how I've been using ChatGpt to create music prompts for Suno Music AI. I've been going through my catalogue of 20 years of song writing and processing them through Suno to get new and exciting versions of the songs that, musically, I typically couldn't product myself. This video goes through how I've attempted to get around telling the prompt directly to sound like a specific band, and make a prompt that describes the "style" of the band I want it to sound like instead. Its certainly an imperfect process but if you're looking for new inspiration to try some new musical stylings, look no further than your favorite bands and your trusty ChatGpt! Here's my suggested starting prompt you can copy and paste into your ChatGpt session to get your started: "We will be making AI music prompts for Suno. We will take a specific band, and create prompts that will best describe the stylings of that band. Create the prompt without using the band name, album, or other specific references to their work."
