If you're a fan of weapons or military history in general, you probably know who Eugene Stoner is. But you likely didn't know that he personally designed the 75mm XM274 automatic cannon built by Ares Incorporated. This cannon was used on the HSTV-L as well as many other light tank projects. I was able to get an interview the Smithsonian conducted with him in the late 80s, and even better, he talks about the unique cannon in great detail.
