We had a week-long stay in Hotel Banyan Tree Seychelles in May 2015. It was not just a hotel ; it was a special world apart. Once in the hotel and in your villa, you are submerged in the tropical forest circling the breath-taking bay of Anse Intedance. Nobody but those in this hotel would have this splendid view of the bay and the privilege of strolling on the vast and long white beach, so deserted and pure that you would feel sorry to leave your footprints behind you. But while you are admiring the curling strong waves, they are already washed away. The some 50 villas are all sunk in the deep green (the Hillside Pool Villas are literally floating amidst the trees), each of which has a private infinity-edge pool and a cozy gazebo. With the view you have here towards the horizon and the spacious comfort of its privacy, it would be hard to leave your villa even for the delicious meals at the restaurants.
