Although Beijing will not admit that the attack was authorized by the government, there are evidences that the attack was at least supported by official department which is in charge of the administration of Internet. Since June 19th, the notorious GFW (Great FireWall of China) stopped IP blocking which block the direct access of many International web services for years, including Facebook, Google and Twitter. That has inevitably provided the fundamental conditions for (official) hackers in China mainland to implement the continuous massive DDoS attack. 尽管北京必定不会承认攻击是政府授意的，但已经有证据表明，此次攻击至少得到了官方互联网管理部门的支持。自6月19日起，臭名昭著的GFW（中国防火长城）暂停了对许多长年封锁的互联网服务的IP地址封锁（尽管仍进行DNS污染），包括Facebook、Google和Twitter等，这样做无疑为国内(官方)黑客开展持续、大规模的DDoS攻击提供了基本条件。
