#420 #bible #weed Ever since the fall of man (Genesis 3:6), nature reflects a dichotomy of good and evil. When God declared in Genesis 1:29 KJV, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat", not only were those herbs exclusively for food consumption, the environment wasn't marred by sin yet. Adam and Eve could "freely eat" of every tree (save the Tree of the Knowledge of God and Evil), and didn't have to worry because as God said when he made plants on the third day of Creation, "...it WAS good." Today, there are thorns on rose bushes, poison ivy/oak, marijuana, shrooms, coca leaves, ayahuasca, salvia, peyote, and many other "herbs" that are injurious to the health and dangerously play with the mind. Marijuana has a cousin named "Hemp" and the seeds and fibers of this plant used to be the center of industry in the United States. Though it contains a small amount of THC, your lungs would collapse before you would ever get high from it. The seeds contain vegan Omega fatty acids, deeming it a good "herb bearing seed" that helps the brain, as opposed to the psychoactive composition of marijuana that can cause/reveal a slew of psychological disorders. No one celebrates hemp, because it doesn't readily invoke the fleshy spirit that marijuana users love. People are raving about the medicinal properties of cannabis CBD cannabinoids. Although, "Current research...has found cannabinoids in many plants, including clove, black pepper, Echinacea, broccoli, ginseng, and carrots." (Plants as Medicine: Are Cannabinoids the Next Breakthrough in Plant Medicine? May 21, 2018 • Brent Bauer, M.D., Mayo Clinic) We don't need a problematic weed for perceived healing. Even the devil can perform miracles (Revelation 16:14). God is love. The Bible must be studied as a whole "...precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little..." (Isaiah 28:13 KJV), in order to see a loving message. Good did not"fearfully and wonderfully" (Psalm 139:14) make mankind only to willingly prescribe them poisonous plants for their "healing." The healing is in Christ (Malachi 4:2), along with any remedies that are administered according to his will. Take care, friend 🙏🏾🙏🏼 Watch "Stoned: Drugs and Sorcery" • Stoned: Drugs and Sorcery
