Hidden among the innumerable maypole-dance tunes and tavern-drinking songs of the past, we encounter musical testimonies of real existential terror and of the black, bottomless pit that can be the human condition. SHORES OF PANGEA is: Marian K. (vocals, mandolin, banjo, cello, guitars, tagelharpa/jouhikko, didgeridoo, flutes, frame drum, percussion, sound design, recording, video editing) and Sophie S. (fiddle, hurdy-gurdy, bodhrán, bouzouki, sitar, keyboards, acoustic bass, percussion, sound design). Our music is halfway based in historical traditions and halfway free experimentation. Although we have been home-recording for several years, we never found the time to publish our music online. This will change as of now. #irishfolk #darkambient #folkmusic
