2023 FOIL eFoil gear: FOIL R, Flex Fold Prop, and More. Comparing and riding 2023 gear to 2022. FOILs mission statement is to make e foiling available for all.  Foil has great value and performance, all at incredibly competitive prices.  An eFoil for all levels of experience and abilities. Now that FOIL is in their second season, we can see this statement more in action.  Not only did they address feedback from customers…(battery size options, propulsion options, more hydrodynamic shape, quieter motor, etc.)...  but all new gear is compatible with the original gear.  Increased options and performance while keeping costs low.  Options to upgrade components or an entire package 🙌 The more hydrodynamic shape and rails are more forgiving on touchdowns.  Recovery from dragging the rail in a turn is a step easier as is the step from the 5'8 board to the 4'8 board.   The 4'8" board is more forgiving due to it's lighter and more nimble mass.  The new R shape (same as the new X) takes that a step further due to the rounded perimeter AND rails. Love that the new gear shows FOIL's response to customer feedback.  New design is great but if I'm honest, I'll miss seeing the  "cyber" "stealth " look in the future.  It really stood out from the rest though it wasn't as hydrodynamic.  But the bright color choices, sparkling marbled forged fiber, and bold black and white logo and graphics will continue to stand in for a striking appearance.
