Testing Superthrive with Orchids - The miracle we've all been waiting for?

Today we are testing one of the most popular products in the whole gardening hobby, Superthrive! ▼▼▼More info bellow!▼▼▼ Superthrve is an additive enriched with vitamins and, at least in the past, plant hormones, that claims to help plants establish faster after repotting and grow more roots faster. If we think of the old packaging.. it's the best thing ever bestowed on human kind http://grownuphydroponics.com/media/c... Now there are many many opinions and experiences out there with this product, some positive, some neutral or even negative. Many people swear by it, but just as many claim it does NOTHING at all. I just had to try it myself :) Off the bat there is something potentially wrong with it, that is the presence of vitamin b1. I personally think that b1 has its role in plant growth, but it's not doing anything for distressing and root establishment. The real ingredient that enhances growth is the plant hormone complex, in particular auxin. However though, when did playing with hormones ever yield 100% accurate results? My results are.. anything but grand. I used the dosage recommended by more experienced orchid growers http://www.orchidboard.com/community/... as the label doesn't say anything about orchids. Results as you could see are pretty mediocre.
