College Spring Break 2022 | Gatlinburg Hiking, Snowboarding, Myrtle Beach, Charleston Fun, food and friends I think those 3 words best describe the last 7 days. Never would I have imagined having so much fun embarking on this adventure. A week before Spring Break at Purdue University, my friend asked me if I wanted to join them for a lil road trip, and I said yes since I didn't have any plan for Spring Break, and it was the right decision. Never have I had such a great time hanging out with friends, trying and learning new things. It was only 1 week but it was a fantastic week. Day 1-3: First day was all about driving. We drove hours to Gatlinburg and settled into out cabin. The next day was hiking day. Each person’s hike was a bit different but three of us hiked from Tennessee all the way to North Carolina. In addition to that, we surprisingly bumped into a lot of Purdue students there, 3 different groups to be exact. Day 3 was all about snowboarding and skiing, and it was my first time. Day 4-5: we drove to Myrtle beach South Carolina early morning. Got there just around time for dinner. Day 4 was all about the beach. We pretty much spent the whole afternoon there. We also went to play mini-golf. Day 6-7: we drove South to Charleston South Carolina and I got the chance to visit my friend Georgia, who went to Purdue last semester and recently transferred. Charleston was a very charming city/ college town and the weather was amazing. Later that day we went on a ghost tour in Charleston and I learned a lot a ton the culture and history of SC, and more specifically Charleston. The next morning we drove back to Purdue. The drive was 14+ hours so it was quite a while, but it didn’t matter, cause I’ve made some awesome memories with these people.
