Texture Painting: An Introduction with Blender and Krita

In this video you will learn how to paint a texture onto a 3D model. You will learn what UV mapping is and what it means, how to UV unwrap your 3D model, how to create a UV Atlas and how to paint that UV atlas with a texture that can then be applied to the 3D model. All of this can be done using tools that are freely available to you. In this case I use Blender for the 3D modelling and Krita for the texture painting.
