A Quilt that is made of Scraps and Questionable Decisions... Part One

Hello all my lovely minions, welcome if you are new and welcome back if you are an OG! Today I’m sewing a truly chaotic scrap quilt — made entirely from my stash of leftover fabrics, old projects, and random bits I refuse to throw away. This quilt is made from 6½" x 6½" squares, and when it all came together, it turned into a massive 8 ft x 8 ft quilt. It includes cotton, denim, fur, satin, and even a pair of shorts I sacrificed for the cause. The most special part? Right in the center is a square made from the very first pair of pants I sewed when I was 10 years old. This quilt is basically my sewing history in blanket form — and I’ve officially decided it’ll be passed down to my kids, and their kids, and so on.
