Burien man convicted of deadly King County Metro bus shooting gets 23 years

A man who pleaded guilty to murdering a sleeping passenger on a King County Metro bus in White Center in 2023 has been sentenced to more than two decades behind bars. Miguel Rivera-Dominguez was 17 at the time of the crime and was charged as an adult. He is now 19. He was sentenced Friday to 280 months in confinement, or 23 years behind bars. Surveillance video showed the moment the teen shot 21-year-old Marcel Wagner several times in what prosecutors called a "senseless execution of a total stranger."
