For this test, I used Genshin Impact application as my measurement tool. Update: For those who are curious about patch 1.6, based on Golden Reviewers research, the resolution for Genshin Impact has been increased to 2298X1605 at high, 1982X1384 at medium, 1528X1067 at low and 1385X967 at lowest. While android phones remain at 720p and iPhones at 800p at high resolution. Thus, this is the primary reason iPad Pro M1 users will experience more heat and potential throttling when playing for long durations at max settings. This test was done during patch 1.5.
