Join us as we walk and 'sometimes' talk on our 6 mile circular walk from Rosthwaite in the Lake District taking in Watendlath Tarn and Dock Tarn. We're not taking about anything too serious, just things that catch our eye as we enjoy the stunning countryside and interesting sights. We're a couple that works hard through the week and walk as much as we can at the weekend to ease the stresses and strains of everyday life. We walk for enjoyment, fitness and mental wellbeing. Our first filmed hike in the Lake District was eventful, funny, dramatic, challenging and memorable. We found the route on ‪@nationaltrustcharity‬ website and it's called - 'Rosthwaite Round, fells, tarn and beck walk'. It's classed as 'challenging' at 5.25 miles (we actually clocked 6.25 miles...) and "a favourite walk of National Trust rangers". This first leg sees us starting in the car park of our hotel for the weekend @royaloakhotelborrowdale in Rosthwaite, where we were unexpectedly joined by a four-legged companion for the first 5 minutes - he soon left us though as we started to climb...!
