Spending Two Days Cleaning the Sidewalk: From Bustling Streets to a Quiet Neighborhood. In the past two days, our group has participated in cleaning the sidewalks in two completely different areas. On the first day, we visited a busy and bustling street. The sidewalk here was overflowing with trash, from plastic bags, bottles, to leftover food scattered everywhere. The smell from the accumulated garbage was so strong that everyone had to cover their noses. Our group got to work, gathering trash, sweeping, and spraying water to clean the area. Although it was exhausting, everyone felt happy and proud when the sidewalk became much cleaner. On the second day, we went to a quieter neighborhood. We thought it would be cleaner, but no, trash was still thrown around carelessly. Although not as chaotic as the busy street, there were still forgotten water bottles and fallen leaves covering the road. The work was lighter, but it still required patience and attention to detail. After two days, we realized that no matter where you are, maintaining environmental cleanliness is always important. A clean sidewalk not only makes the area look better but also raises community awareness.
