This and the subsequent section is posted in the interest of research into this rarely if ever documented area of tv history. Material and information for the researcher into this field is, in my experience, non-existant unless one takes a chance on well-intentioned guesswork. These are the tapes one would have heard TX'd in January-May 1971 on BBC1. Tape 16 (Apron Strings) 23.2.68-24.5.71; tape 17 (Holiday Highway) 29.9.68-2.7.71; tape 19 (Tzigane) 23.11.68-4.1.72; tape 20 (Tzigane) 8.8.69-6.12.71); tape 24 (Lark in the Clear Air) 2.1.71-3.8.72 and tape 21 (Royal Daffodil) 21.9.69-3.8.72. Tape 18 was the same as no 19 except for items 4,5. It survived just a handful of playings from London. Often the numerical order of tapes 21 and 24 were reversed, so they are here.
