Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors: Review of Fire Service Study Proposals– September 8, 2025

In this meeting, the Board of Supervisors continued discussion on the proposed Fire Department Career Staffing Expansion and whether to move forward with hiring an independent consultant to review the plan. Supervisors debated consultant proposals, costs, timelines, and the value of bringing in outside expertise. The issue will be further discussed during the September 22, 2025 Board of Supervisors Meeting at 7 p.m. in the Township Municipal Building. It will also be live-streamed on YouTube. The Board is expected to decide later this year whether to include this fire service expansion in the 2026 Township Budget.
